Explore the magic of clay in a fun, hands-on homeschool class!

Designed for students ages 11 and up, this 4-week class introduces fundamental pottery techniques through creative projects that build confidence and artistic skills. Whether your student is new to clay or looking to grow their skills, they’ll enjoy personalized instruction in a supportive environment. 

What You’ll Learn:

  • Clay basics & handbuilding: wedging, pinch pots, coil building, slab construction

  • Creative expression: sculpting, texture, and surface design

  • Glazing techniques: safe and fun glaze application on bisque-fired pieces

  • Studio etiquette: cleaning, organizing, and caring for tools and materials

  • Intro to wheel throwing: experience the potter’s wheel, age and attention permitting

Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Clay washes off easily; bring a towel for the ride home.
