What is Clay Camp?
Get ready for a summer filled with clay, creativity, and endless fun! MadeBy Clay Camp is where young artists turn imagination into pottery, getting hands-on with real clay techniques in an exciting, mess-friendly space.
From whimsical creatures to functional pottery, each day is a new creative journey. Campers will explore a new part of the pottery process each day—starting with simple techniques and growing into more advanced sculpting and decorating. By the end of the week, they’ll have their own collection of handmade ceramic treasures to showcase.
Clay Camp Art Show – Celebrate Your Creations
All campers will have their work featured in a special Clay Camp Art Show:
Groups One & Two: Friday, July 11th
Groups Three & Four: Friday, August 8th
Family and friends are invited to join us for this exciting event and celebrate the incredible creativity of our young artists!
What Campers Will Do
Shape and build with clay using pinch, coil, and slab techniques
Sculpt and carve unique textures, patterns, and designs
Glaze and decorate pottery to bring their creations to life
Explore their creativity and develop hands-on artistic skills
What’s Included
All clay, tools, and materials
Professional kiln firing and glazing of completed pieces
Expert instruction in a supportive, creative environment
Participation in the Clay Camp Art Show
Who Should Join?
Clay Camp is designed for kids ages 8–14 who love working with their hands and want to explore the exciting world of pottery. No experience is necessary—just bring creativity and a willingness to get messy.
